Reflections Garbage and Recycling Information

Garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday of every week at approximately 2PM.  Make sure you have it out in the morning in case they come earlier that day. 

Trash cans and recycling bins may be taken to the street at 7pm Wednesday and must be pulled back into the garage by 7pm Thursday.

If the week has a holiday, the garbage and recycling will be picked up on Friday instead of Thursday.

Waste services will include all extras (couches, small furniture, etc.).  Please see Recycling 101 for some tips from our provider.

This does not include:

·         Appliances (Appliances will be removed by appointment only and charged $45.00 per item.)

·         Construction material

·         Move in or move out waste

·         Eviction waste

·         Landscape waste

·         Paint cans (paint cans need to open and dried out before they will be picked up)

·         Tires

·         Car batteries

·         Electronics

All other materials listed and not covered can be removed by appointment and will be charged $22.00 per yard.

Aurora 2011 Electronics Recycling Information

City electronic recycling collection events will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2 locations.  For complete details click here.

Aurora Customer Service Center, 3770 McCoy Drive dates include:

June 18, July 23, Aug. 20, Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17

City’s Central Garage facility, 720 N. Broadway Ave. Customer Service Center dates include:

May 14, June 4, July 9, Aug. 6, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 5 and Dec. 3.
